A lot of these males today make meh sooo upset like the really dont have dicks... or they dont kno what to do with them... nd  noo i am not tlkin bout sex ... i am tlkin bout them being a man about they shit ... like i really wish i couold find a DUDE.. I was sitting in my house all alone thinkin to myself what makes meh happy about myself. i had a really deep thought process. And i realize that i am completely happy with who i am on the inside and out. I love the way i look and that i am a beautiful african american woman that is proud of who she is and what she has become over the years. the stereotypes of society dont impact meh in any way shape or form.. yes i have short kinky hair nd wear weaves... yes i have large lips and dark brown eyes but through this outrward apperance many people fail to kno who i really.... Beauty is truely skinn deep ... i love meh for meh nd not what others percieve meh as ... I AM COMFORTABLE IN MY SKIN ...ARE YU???

MISSED BLOGGIN

Ok so I have been away from bloggin nd i kinda really miss it.. i have so much to share nd so much that i have come across that i would love to share with others. since school has pretty much taken over my life i had to put things to the back burner. well now that i am into college out of high school i can do what i have been missing for some time now... i  am back with a new name nd new ideas ... Jersey Shore: Guidos & Guidettes, Controversy, bottom line it a great show!!!

Jersey Shore has to be and is by far one of the best MTV shows that has been out since Real World originally started. This show follows the lives of todays Italian American society on the Jersey Shore. This is one of my new obsessions and it fulfills all of my guilty pleasures. A reality is supposed to be filled with drama and people rebelling in a changing society. The show is satisfying and will go down in history.

The cast consist of 8 people 4 guidos and 4 guidettes:

 The lively Guidos and Guidettes move into a home provided by their employer and in order to pay him back they have to work in his boardwalk shop in Seaside Heights the area where they are living in. The  The show is filled with tons of partying and hooking up in clubs where fist pumping and grinding to house music is apart of everyday life. The girls come looking for the perfect guido and the guys come to get laid pretty much about everynight and to not fall in love at the Jersey Shore. Since the show has started there has been love triangles, people getting kicked out the house and club fights that included the controversal snookie punch.

The Controversy:

The show plays upon the stereotype of the guido, prompting criticism from groups such as the National Italian American Foundation and the Order Sons of Italy in America.The show has also been protested against by residents and businesses in the Jersey Shore area for casting a negative light on the region. The Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau claimed that "MTV is providing a one-dimensional, dramatized version of a very small group of visitors' summer experiences in one Jersey Shore town." The show has also been heavily lampooned in the media, including Cracked calling it the "Worst Thing to Happen to East Coast Since 9/11" Domino's Pizza recently pulled their commercials from airing during the show. Tim McIntyre, the company's vice president of communications, stated, "One of the ads happened to show up and once we saw what the program was, we decided that the content wasn't in keeping with what we're all about."

MTV responded to criticism with the following statement:

Jersey Shore continues MTV's history of documenting various subcultures, rites of passage of young people, and the ways they self-identify. The Italian-American cast takes pride in their ethnicity. We understand that this show is not intended for every audience and depicts just one aspect of youth culture

WOW Buffie the Body : BOOTYNOMICS 101

Ok so today I am on Twitter in school and as I am stalking people "Buffie the Body" pops up so I click her profile to she if she has anything interesting to say and to my surprise she did. She is coming out with a new work out called BOOTYNOMICS 101 now I am thinking to myself wow the might be the typical ghetto girl work out cause black women in modern society do not workout. I thought that this might be some work out that this might be a way for video vixens such as Buffie to get some more work in the music buisness. Well I was wrong this is legit. Buffie was feature on the Tyra Show and explained why she has such a large rear and why she wants to make this workout.

The website is not completely finished but she does have a number of workout videos that seem helpful but I do not think that this is a side of  Buffie that men want to see but will cause African American women to become more aware of their health regardless of what shape they may be. I suggest that women go read her blog under her What's New tab it is very informative on how people go to the worlds end to have an ass like Buffie.
